Zoya Gossip Collection Swatches

I'm so excited about this lovely set from Zoya. I would have never paid a second thought to these polishes because they looked so bland in the pictures. I was wrong- these aren't bland, they're beautiful!

These apply amazingly well, much better than some of the other creme finish Zoya polishes I've used. They're smooth, not too thick (as 3-free polishes tend to be) and they dry surprisingly fast. No goo, just a nice even coat every time. These are also pretty pigment-dense, most of them only require one coat to be completely opaque! No streaks!

Here are the polishes (please excuse my poor, ragged cuticles, as I've been doing a LOT of swatching this week):

Audrina

Elodie

Heidi

LC

Lo

Whitney

These look like perfect summer colors that will go well with most skintones. I bet they'd look even better with a shimmery topcoat (Heartbreaker, anyone?)

You can get these directly from Art Of Beauty.

  1. I can't wait till I get mine! The promotion is back on, apparently, or at least, extended for a bit. Do you have other Zoya polishes and is the brand worth investigating in general? I've wanted Suvi for a long time but Zoya polishes get such mixed reviews on the nail board.

  2. Beautiful pics as always, a pity that the offer (Try Me Kit+Gossip coll) is not available here in the UK :(
Just in case you have them, could you kindly compare Brights Power, This Is Hot Pink and Mod-ern Girl (OPI Mod About Brights) with the orange (Heidi), pinks (Lo & Whitney) and coral (Elodie) from this Zoya Collection?
Worth having them all or just dupes?
    Thank you very much,

  4. Shryh, that's good to hear, I felt bad when I realized it was expired and I posted about it!
I have a lot of Zoya polishes, and I like them very much. I haven't had a problem with them. It seems like they take slightly longer to dry, but other than that, they're very nice.

Suvi is very pretty, and I was planning on doing a swatch of it next week (if the sun ever comes out, that is...)

They have a lot of great colors - Yasmeen being my favorite- that are worth checking out.

AV- Of course, I can do a comparison. Not a problem at all. I'll just post pictures side by side for now, since I'm trying out the Color Lock system (and can't remove my polish til it chips, boo!)

And thanks for the compliment :)

  5. Scrangie, thanks! If tou can post the pics side by side it would be absolutely great, but actually I'd be VERY happy with you only telling me your opinion about the similarities. Thing is, I love the Zoya's you just posted but it's easier for me to find OPI's here in the UK, so I am wondering if those that I mentioned could be dupes for Elodie, Heidi and Lo...
