Konad Of The Day

I have been feeling a little under the weather lately, and you've probably noticed that I've been neglecting my poor blog! I'm sort of taking a mini-break, I'm not spending much time online but I am checking my email periodically throughout the day. I'm still alive!

Anyway, I went to the doctor today, so I decided to do a really interesting manicure to cheer myself up. I wasn't able to get a good shot of it, but I did manage to get three crappy pictures of it to make up for that.

Flash, to show the holo.

More flash, not as washed out, but also not very clear. You can still see the holo!

Very dim natural light, but a clear picture. Can you believe it's snowing already?!

This is one coat of Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Black Pearl with China Glaze OMG and Konad plate M63. It looks kinda marbled, doesn't it? I really love this! I think I'll use my Konad more, I feel bad for neglecting it.

So, that was my manicure of the day. See you soon!

  7. Dear Scrangie,
I have been admiring your work for sometime now. But you've really outdone yourself here! So pretty. Hope the nails are making you feel a little better. You've truly inspired me to wear colours and experiment with my nails....I may even grow them! The polishes are stacking up in the closet =). Multiplying daily. Hope you feel well soon.

  9. Scrangie-
I had to read your post twice before I understood that this was the holo OVER the black and not the other way 'round.

Just stunning! I'm in awe of your skills- I used OMG for some small flowers and butterflies, but this is way better than I could have ever expected!

Hopefully just knowing how many folks you are cheering up with this magical mani gives you some cheer, too!

    Take care,

  22. This is the best I've seen in a long time, to be honest with you! All over the internet I mean. I absolutately love it and am a bit fascinated that other polishes than the special stamping ones work too. Now I REALLY need to get myself some Konad plates and a stamp!

  24. Wow... I'm with wixbetty in that I had to pause and grasp the concept of OMG being the stamp color and not the other way around! That combo really looks *amazing* and VERY impressive! It looks like your nails are the perfect length for the stamp. Feel better with your pretty nails! ;)
