More Rescue Beauty Lounge swatches.

I really hate to say this, but Rescue Beauty Lounge has the best formula of any nail polish I own. It's so smooth and even and it's the perfect texture. Not runny, not too thick, smooth as glass. If only they had a better color selection.

Here are a few more swatches.

Atame. It looks patchy in this shot, but I assure you it's just a reflection. See how shiny it is? I'm not even wearing topcoat.

Drifter

Moulin Rouge

Yellow Fever. This one has very subtle shimmer. The is also the only one I had a hard time applying- it was streaky enough to need three coats and it was pretty thick.

Film Noir

Killa Red

And just for fun, the ones I've posted before:

Black Russian aka Revamp

Dead Calm (Dead Clam)

Recycle

  2. Thank you so much, Steph :)

I wish Rescue Beauty Lounge was less expensive, because I'd love to try all the colors. Someone needs to find out their secret recipe so other polish can be as awesome!

  4. Hey, Diann_co, thanks so much :)

They are pretty similar to each other. I'd have to say Atame reminds me of OPI Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ, sort of a deep burgundy/BBQ sauce shade.

Moulin Rouge is a brownish reddish sort of shade, I can't think of what to compare it to at the moment, but it's a dark brown red (chocolate covered cherries?)

Drifter is more plum/purple, it looks pretty dark in indoor lighting, but it's definitely purple-ish.

Hope that helps a little :) I should do a comparison picture!

  5. I have Killa Red, Drifter and Film Noir coming in the mail, and after seeing your swatches, I'm praying very hard that Killa Red will be noticeably different from Glamourpuss (another blue based red) which I already own. I love RBL like no tomorrow. Moxie is also a polish that could turn out to be very streaky -- I tried it on in the store and was shocked that an RBL polish could be less than perfect. :)

  6. Thanks for letting me know about Moxie, I had my eye on that one! I also want to try one of the greys.

  7. Thank you so much for these great RBL swatches! I am really LOVING the polishes but SLOWLY getting them cause of the price! I agree regarding Yellow Fever! I just did my nails with Yellow Fever and it literally took 3-4 coats! I still love it anyway! :) Great Blog!

  8. Hey Mrs. Schwartz! You're welcome :) I really love Rescue polishes, and in my opinion they're the only pricey polish that's worth the cost! Thanks for stopping by :)
