Preview of Zoya Matte, Truth and Dare Fall Collections

Just got these really cool preview swatches from Zoya!


The Matte Velvets: Loredana, Dovima, Posh. These look awesome. Very satiny.


Truth: Penny, Kalmia, Salma, Isla, Anaka, Drew.
Anaka looks like my favorite so far- it has tiny little microglitter/shimmer with tons of depth!


Dare: Vanessa, Ciara, Demi, Pinta, Envy Ibiza.
The second picture is taken with extremely bright light to show the base color of these shades. Vanessa, Ciara and Demi aren't true to life in these pictures. They're showing up much brighter and pinker than they are in real life. Vanessa reminds me of Moxie, Ciara is a warm purple and Demi is a light/medium purple.

I should have the real thing to swatch soon!

  3. I think I like the Zoya mattes better than the OPI ones. The OPI mattes didn't look satiny. The Orly ones look very pretty as well. I didn't even know MAC was doing mattes! Decisions, decisions, decisions!

    I know Manglaze is one of your favorite matte polish lines- How do the Zoyas in black and grey/gray compare?

    The finish seems similar based on your pics of both, but what are your thoughts?

  5. I like the Zoya mattes best so far out of the mattes that I've seen, but I haven't seen Orly swatched yet, so perhaps that will change. I'm also loving Ibiza (there's something about "starry sky" polishes that I love).

  6. The Truth/Dare collections are so tempting. Usually I only want one of the 2 collection releases, but I want both of these! I cannot wait to see them on you.

  8. I am liking the satin finish on the three matte polishes. So far, the light grey is my favorite of the three. I was expecting to like the wine best.

    I want to Konad beetles from the Coraline set over Envy. Then I want to wave my fingers around.

  9. Wow, it looks like 'matte' is the new black!
    It's great because being a guy who wears polish on his toes, the matte finish looks a bit less feminine to me.
    It does look good on women too though! : )

  11. I plan on all the mattes, but am unsure on the rest. I'd love a real glowy red so Salma might fit.. and I will probably need all of Dare! if not all definitely Envy, Iziba and Pinta. They need to come out now!! The suspense just kills!
