Reader Requests

I've been sooooo behind on my swatching and requests, but I managed to finish a few today!

OPI Golden Rules! From one of my favorite OPI collections of all time, Night Brights. A soft metallic gold with a brushed-metal type finish.

OPI Cozu-Melted In The Sun. A shimmery peachy metallic with large particle shimmer. Super pretty. It looks darker in the bottle than it does on my fingers... Strange!

Lippmann Collection Rhapsody In White. I didn't think I had this one, but it turns out I did! A very pearly bright white. Easier to apply than Icing On The Cake, but still not easy to work with. Very brushstroky.

China Glaze Aqua Baby. A bright blue creme. If I recall correctly, this is practically identical to China Glaze Shower Together from the Eco Collection, but I couldn't find my bottle to compare.

I finally got a chance to swatch the Essie 2008 Bridal Collection and the OPI Princess Charming collection, as well as a ton of old and brand new polishes, so keep an eye out for those. I have comparisons on the way also. Whew!

  1. Oooh yay it's Cozu-Melted in the Sun! It looks a lot more pink in your swatch than it was on NailGal...Anyways thanks so much! I think I'll get it! :)

  2. Ah, Cozu Melted in the Sun! It's one of those lighter colors I really needed to see on the nail. I'm not a work appropriate kinda girl, so I need my peaches to be sassy. Glitter is sassy!

  3. Your swatch convinced me -- I need to buy Cozu-Melted in the Sun. I didn't realize it was that pretty.

  4. Cozu-Melted in the Sun is really pretty! I had it on my wish list, then took it off because I thought it would be more of the same I already had and bought a bunch of bright and non-work-appropriate colours. But now I've seen this swatch, I want it anayway! Thanks!

By the way, have you ever heard of the brand Golden Rose? It is not easy find here in The Netherlands, but maybe it is in the USA? It has a lovely bright green holo in it's collection you might like!

  5. What happened with your shorter broken nails?

  6. Aqua Baby is HOT! It doesn't look like "Shower Together" to me though. Maybe I should take a 2nd look.

    Very Pretty.

  7. Lovely swatches :)
It makes me happy to see your pretty colors!

  8. OMG! I adore your nails! I love the last one alot! The aqua blue. :)

  9. Another order for Cozu-Melted in the Sun. So pretty.

  10. Night Brights was an awesome collection. One of my favorite OPI's in my collection is My Private Jet. I usually layer it over black creme to make it darker. The holo shows more intensely. It doesn't get much better than that.

  11. Sprinkles, it is pinky and also peachy, very pretty!

Tarotbydiana, this is a nice one for sure. It looks so light on me, it's a lot darker in the bottle!

Jamie, it is super pretty, I'm sure you will love it :)

Bianca, it's so unique too, the metallic sparkle quality to it is so pretty! I haven't heard of that brand! Bright green holo, you say? Must investigate, thank you!!

Jess, they've grown out nicely :) Only my right hand was short, but now they're at a great length for swatching :)

The Pretty Brown Girl, I love it! Now I *really* have to find my Shower Together... hmm...

Phyrra, awwwe thank you :D I like making people happy!

*Nehs*, awe, thank you so much! <3

Lucy, I don't to pinky colors and even I like it lol

Deb, agree completely. Heaven in a bottle. And INK!!! Best color ever. Great collection, OPI, do another like it!!

  12. Scrangie! THANK YOU for swatching Rhapsody In White. It is so pretty and I am so disappointed it is so brushstoky. It's like good and evil. I can't take it. You are a Goddess. Never, ever stop. Are there any colors out there (reasonable priced) that are so bright white pearl that don't retain the brushstroke?

    Excitably disappointed.

  13. I adore these colors, especially the first 3! Cozu-Melted in the Sun is definitely on my wish list!!
