Apology (and a request)

It has come to my attention that there have been some pretty freaky ads being displayed on my blog. I am really, really sorry if you happened to see that last one. It was a surprise to me, too!

In regards to this, I have a request. If you see any more, uh, interesting or objectionable ads being displayed, could you please email me with the details so I can block them from appearing again? I already try to filter out any of the questionable ones I catch, like all those sites that sell counterfeit MAC and stuff, but I don't see all of the ones that get displayed.

Hopefully my blog will be unexpected-wang free from now on...

  11. Man, I always miss the fun stuff! Haha! Seriously, I hate that that happened to the easier-to-offend among us. How tacky that that can happen without your control.

  12. I didn't see anything like that. I thought ads were geared to the person who is linked in to your blog. For example, one day recently I did a search for laptop bags and then most of the ads I saw on blogs were for laptop bags. Hmmmm. It's good now...just a Garmin ad.

  13. Melenie, I know, ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! If I don't get tickets I will probably die of sadness! I hope I can get them before they sell out =/

    Pamsan, mmm, charisma.

Megan, the Google ads are targeted, but the Project Wonderful (by the way, not so wonderful) ads are placed by advertisers individually, and this time they thought my readers might need a cure for penis pimples... O_o lol

  14. OMG, I think I'm secretly a 12 year old boy. lol "Unexpected Wang" is totally going to be my rock band name. Hope you don't mind. :) (Seriously though: I have never seen an offensive ad on here, and I check in at least once a day)

  17. I use firefox and an addon called Ad block plus which blocks all ads from appearing unless I make an exception. It works really well, I didn't even know your blog had ads. ;)

  18. Binky1217, hahaha that's perfect!

Sussi, sure, rub it in! You have no idea how jealous I am :D

Jen, well, I never used to have ads, but I had to put them up recently to help pay for running my blog =/ I don't like them, but they help support me and my blog!

  19. Yeah when you use Ad Block Plus it's really important to make set exceptions for blogs and sites that you want to support financially. If people don't look at/click the ads, most of the sites we know and love couldn't afford to keep going. Just my two cents. :)

  21. Veroushka, thank you for saying that :)

Sussi, you look beautiful! And Till... mmm.... Till.... I love him, but I'm an Olli girl, I'd trade my whole polish collection for him! :D
So... does Till wear cologne? I've always been curious!

  25. We Are The Wicked, oooh I'm jealous of you too! :D

  26. Part of me wants to know but a larger part of me is glad I missed out on that one O.o I know you have ads but I honestly never notice them. I think years of web surfing has caused my brain to develop its own ad blocker. Though I'd certainly rather a site I love have the ads than shut down! Preferably somewhat appropriate ads anyways XD

  27. lol, I love the picture that goes along with the post. totally cracked me up. :p

  28. I saw the ad and it's been haunting me ever since! Thanks for blocking it, Scrangie.

  29. Ahh accidents happen haha :) Good thing I didn't see the ad.
On another note, I bet this picture was taken from "People of Walmart"! haha
    I kid :)

  30. ooooh well then I have this photo of me and Olli http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v73/mycybunny/rammstein-berlin-october/?action=view&current=23c1930e.jpg

This was after a rehersal concert they did in a small club in Berlin before their Reise Reise tour. I was a member of their fanclub back then :D It was the best experience ever :D Till's teenage daughter was there too. If Til had cologne on before the show - it certainly had washed off from all the sweath lol

  31. Sussi, AHHHH I am so jealous you to to be near Olli!! *sigh* Olli... He gives me butterflies in my stomach. Those pictures of Till and the venue look familiar, is that when he had those big cuts on his arm? I always wondered what happened to him!

  32. First time reading your blog and I must tell you: thank you for the awesome swatches AND for this unexpected picture of Till. One of my most beloved memories are from the day I had wine and jumped on the hotel pool with this man.
    Hugs from Brasil :)
