Beauty.com $25 Beauty Favorites Set from Walgreens

I was at Walgreens over the weekend looking for Halloween stuff and stumbled across this little pink box of awesome at the beauty counter:

 Beauty.com Beauty Favorites
An exclusive collection of prestige beauty essentials
$130 value + free $10 promotional card
$25

The set includes:
  • Borghese Linea Precisa Eyeliner in Black (0.015 fl oz) - full size!
  • Mally Volumizing Mascara in Black (0.39 fl oz) - full size!
  • LORAC Lips with Benefits in Mark (0.19 fl oz) - full size!
  • Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Grapefruit (0.176 oz)
  • Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter (1.7 fl oz)
  • Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask (2.0 oz)
  • Perricone MD High Potency Amine Face Lift with DMAE and Vitamin C Ester (0.5 fl oz)
  • Murad Age Reform 3 Hydrate + Protect Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture (0.25 fl oz)
  • $10 Beauty.com Gift Card

LORAC Lips with Benefits in Mark
(I really like these- I've previously reviewed them here)

Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Grapefruit
(After watching Laura Geller talk about these on QVC for years, I've really been wanting to try one!)

I haven't used most the items in the set yet, but so far I'm loving the Bliss body butter (using it as hand cream at the moment, it smells lovely and feels even nicer!) and the Borghese eyeliner (it's a marker-style liner but it's nice and wet so it makes a smooth line).

I thought this set was an absolute steal for only $25.  There's three full-size products in here, and the travel-sized items are also rather large.  Plus there's also a $10 beauty.com gift card, so that's just icing on the cake.  I'm really not crazy about beauty.com's shoddy customer service or the way they pack their shipments, but, hey, $10 is $10!

If you like try-me kits and getting a really good deal on them, you'll probably want to keep your eye out for this one next time you're at Walgreens!

  1. Some places were able to get a $20 GC with it! So lucky you found it though!

    1. What, $20 gift card instead of $10?? That's way cool!

  2. I feel like I kind of need this. Not even for the gift card (I had some issues with drugstore.com, which is the other half of beauty.com, and felt their apology/handling of the issue was subpar), but the items themselves would be worth it even if I never order anything more.

    1. Yeah, I've had problems with drugstore.com too. Both drugstore and beauty seems to have really... apathetic? customer service. That's why I always try to order from Sephora if I can, their customer service is usually excellent.

Anyway, I was thinking that Mark might be a good peachy color on you!

    2. Aww, now I really have to go find this! I do love peachy colors (and really don't have that many) Thanks! (and I mean that in the serious way, not the sarcastic way, lol)

  6. Hmmmmm...I might have to meander into the local Walgreens and take a peek. I don't wear hardly any makeup though so I'm not sure it would be worth it for me!

  9. I got this at a wags in July when visiting friends in Chicago and I haven’t seen it anywhere else since! Weird.

  10. Ugh I looked at 8 Walgreens in my area. Apparently this is exclusive to the Chicago area, per Beauty.com

  11. I wish the UK beauty companies would work out how much we would enjoy these try me boxes and go on to rebuy

  12. I checked my Walgreens in the Pittsburgh area and the lady working there looked at me like I was crazy. She had never heard of it. Is it exclusive to the Chicago area? Not fair if it is!

  13. I won't do Drugstore/Beauty.com either. They charged me an ordering and separate shipping fee on an item they were out of and when they couldn't get it, they refunded the purchase price but kept the fees even after I raised hell! Their prices are nothing special anyway. Just as well since I couldn't find this in either of the Walgreen's close to me.
