Along with the Orgasm nail polish and gloss set, I got the new Sephora: The Ultimate Guide to Makeup, Skin and Hair book...
Um, well... It's rather, how should I say it? Basic.
If you have the last year's worth of Sephora catalogues, you don't need this book. It's basically a giant Sephora catalogue with some very basic beauty tips thrown in.
Not to say that it isn't fun to read, there are lots of gorgeous makeup pictures (mostly from old Sephora catalogues...) to look at, it's just not all that informative. It is, however, an excellent advertisement for brands sold at Sephora!
Maybe I'm just being picky, but I expect books to have more content. I also don't like the cover image- that was my least favorite of all the Sephora cataloge covers! They should have used the fall one from a few years ago, with the Russian girl!

Hey Scrangie,
ReplyDeleteJust started reading your blog, its a lot of fun! I was wondering you if you could recommend a good place to buy polish online? I've been using Head2Toe Beauty, those are the best prices I can find.
Thanks!
Hey Jessica! I'm glad you like my blog =)
ReplyDeleteI use Head2Toe as well, but there's also 8ty8beauty.com and transdesign.com. I have also heard people like enailsupply.com, but I personally have had a bad experience with them (not telling me items were out of stock).
Hope that helps!
